Among all these movements that exist around the world — this mixture of truth and falsehood, this oppressive and satanic dominance of devilish people over the lives of others — in this wretched atmosphere, which is the atmosphere of arrogance, the same atmosphere of the system of domination that we have repeated many times, a nation has emerged that speaks the truth, seeks the truth, seeks human rights, seeks the establishment of justice. That nation is our dear Iran. By the blessing of Islam, by the blessing of the revolution. The Iranian nation has stood by this claim. Because of the Iranian nation’s steadfastness, this idea has gradually opened a place for itself in this region, and even in the world. Now we are seeing its effects in this region. This is a reality.
It is obvious that the devils of the world do not give up. As long as they are not toppled, they do not give up. The deviant, crooked Soviet government, as long as it existed, was opposed to Islam and the Islamic Republic, just like this liberal-capitalist system — and as they say, liberal-democratic system. You know that they disagreed on a hundred issues, but they agreed with each other on several issues. One of those issues, and at the forefront of them, was fighting against the rise of Islam, the advancement of Islam, and the Islamic Republic system. But well, the deviant, satanic Soviet system was destroyed, and this one will also be destroyed. But as long as they exist, they exert their power and bring all their effort into the field to confront the Islamic system. Of course, it is unquestionably futile. If this side has steadfastness, has patience, does not lose hope in its heart, and continues, then victory is certainly with this side. This is one of God’s divine traditions. God Almighty is truthful, the Most Truthful of speakers: “And Allah will surely support those who support Him” (Quran 22:40), “If you support Allah, He will support you” (Quran 47:7).
One front is pursuing and following the truth. The opposing front is following falsehood. Sometimes, this front of truth becomes afraid. Well, then they will certainly be defeated. They are on the truth, but they are defeated. Sometimes they show impatience — then they are defeated. Sometimes they have the truth on their side but do not act upon its requirements, they chase after worldly pleasures, materialism, and luxury — then they are defeated. God Almighty has not given a blank check that just because you are on the truth, you will surely be victorious. No, you will be victorious because you are on the truth and because you stand firm. If you stand firm, you will be victorious. But until that final victory arrives, the struggle, confrontation, and challenge continue.
